Pharma test PTWS 130 6-vessel dissolution tester

The Pharma Test PTWS 130 is a classic, accurate, and durable 6-vessel dissolution tester designed for pharmaceutical quality control (QC), in-process control (IPC), and research and development (R&D) laboratories. It can accurately analyze the in vitro drug release rate and dissolution characteristics of oral solid dosage forms such as tablets and capsules in a highly stable constant-temperature water bath and stirring environment.

I. Fully compliant with international standards such as the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) <711/724>, the European Pharmacopeia (EP) <2.9.3/4>, the Japanese Pharmacopoeia (JP), and the British Pharmacopoeia (BP), it adopts a classic 6-vessel single-row linear layout design, with a compact and exquisite structure that facilitates daily inspection, observation, and sampling by operators.

II. Equipped with patented MonoShaft™ quick-change concentric mixing shaft technology (fully compatible with Apparatus 1 swivel method and Apparatus 2 paddle method), the main shaft does not need to be disassembled when changing mixing tools. It is factory-locked at a standard depth of 25 mm and eliminates the need for manual recalibration, greatly improving pretreatment efficiency and eliminating human setting errors.

III. It adopts a high-precision servo drive system and a high-efficiency external circulation constant temperature heating module to effectively isolate the vibration interference of heating and pump circulation, ensuring rapid heating and uniform constant temperature inside the water bath, and providing test data with high repeatability, low vibration and high stability.

IV. Equipped with a clear and intuitive control panel and parameter setting interface, it boasts extremely high durability, easy maintenance, and stable daily operation performance, making it the standard mainstay model for routine dissolution testing and quality control in pharmaceutical laboratories.

Equipment Introduction

  • Patented MonoShaft™ System: Time-Saving & Human Error Elimination

    • Ultra-high coaxiality : Eliminates the swaying and misalignment problems caused by inserting and removing traditional mixing shafts, fully meeting the FDA's stringent mechanical calibration tolerance requirements.

    • Highly calibrated without the need for recalibration : When changing the paddle, basket, or transdermal disc, you only need to turn it with one hand to lock it. The distance between the mixing shaft and the bottom of the cup (25 mm ± 2 mm) remains precisely fixed, eliminating the need for tedious daily high-precision calibration.

  • Compact Footprint Design: Maximizing Laboratory Space Utilization

    • With its compact 6-vessel layout, the machine occupies a small area, making it particularly suitable for quality control (QC), in-process control (IPC), or research and development (R&D) units where desktop space is limited.

  • Superior Thermal Circulation & Anti-Evaporation Design for High Precision (ensuring stable and accurate data) :

    • Rapid and uniform heating : The high-flow external circulation heating system can eliminate the phenomenon of hot and cold stratification in the water bath and can reach a stable equilibrium state of 37.0°C in a short time.

    • Extremely low evaporation loss : The precision-sealed lid design significantly reduces the evaporation rate of media in long-lasting dissolution (such as sustained-release formulations) lasting more than 24 hours, ensuring the accuracy of dissolution concentration measurement.

  • High-Durability Drive Mechanism with Ultra-Low Maintenance Costs :

    • Designed with German precision, the internal transmission mechanism uses high-quality synchronous toothed belts and long-life bearings, ensuring smooth and quiet operation without vibration interference, effectively reducing mechanical wear, and providing an extremely long equipment service life.

  • Comprehensive Modular Validation & Regulatory Compliance Support (No worries about factory inspections) :

    • All parts in the series come with a serial number and material certificate (such as 316L stainless steel paddles/turn baskets). The manufacturer provides complete IQ/OQ/PQ verification documents and toolkits, making it easy to pass domestic and international factory inspections.
