The Pharma Test PTG-M100 is a high-precision, intuitive, manual powder physical property tester designed for pharmaceutical R&D, scale-up, and quality control laboratories. The instrument supports comprehensive testing of powder flow behavior, enabling rapid and accurate determination of flow time, angle of repose, cone volume, and density of powders and particles within standardized processes.

I. Fully compliant with European Pharmacopoeia (EP) <2.9.36>, <2.9.16>, United States Pharmacopeia (USP) <1174> and ISO 4324 international standards, providing a compliant and highly standardized physical measurement basis for all types of powders and granules.

II. It features dual measurement modes for "Angle of Repose" and "EP Pharmacopoeia Flowability", which can obtain flow time, stacking angle, cone volume and mass density at one time, greatly simplifying the analysis steps and effectively improving the throughput of testing.

III. A high-precision digital height measuring instrument (resolution and reproducibility up to 0.01 mm) is used, along with a 100 mm dedicated sample base, to accurately measure the height of the powder naturally deposited cone and precisely calculate the angle of repose.

IV. Equipped with a tool-free sliding height locking mechanism, a built-in circular level bubble meter in the base, and three-point leveling screws, ensuring that the measurement plane is absolutely level and eliminating human error caused by mechanism distortion and operation.

V. Modular cleaning and anti-contamination design, standard magnetic/quick-release special stainless steel powder overflow collection tray, convenient for quick emptying and cleaning after testing, completely avoiding sample residue and cross-contamination.

• Multi-Parameter Powder Testing:

  • Simultaneous measurement of multiple items: A single machine can completely measure the "Angle of Repose", "Flow Time", "Volume" and "Density" of powder, greatly simplifying laboratory operation procedures and measurement time.

  • Meets EP 100g sample flowability test: Supports tool-free switching to a dedicated collection beaker, and uses a stopwatch to quickly measure the flow time of 100g of powder through the specified discharge nozzle.

• High-precision digital height measurement and geometric angle calculation (Precision Digital Height Gauge):

  • Digital height measurement unit: Equipped with a high-end German digital vertical height measuring instrument with a resolution of 0.01 mm, a repeatability of 0.01 mm, and a measurement speed of up to 1 m/s.

  • Precise calculation of the angle of repose: Using a dedicated flat sample base with a diameter of 100 mm, after the powder naturally overflows the surface of the plate to form a stable cone, the height of the tip of the cone is accurately measured, perfectly eliminating the reading error of traditional visual protractors.

• Tool-Free Ergonomic Adjustment:

  • Infinitely adjustable height: The funnel and support adopt a sliding quick-locking mechanism, which can quickly raise and lower and lock the height without any wrenches or screwdrivers, and the operation is stable and without shaking or displacement.

  • Mistake-proof and deviation-proof design: The vertical guide rail is precision-cut, and the center point of the hopper discharge and the center of the sample tray are always coaxially and vertically aligned when sliding up and down.

• Absolute leveling and spill protection (Built-in Leveling & Spill Collector):

  • Three-point leveling system: The sturdy heavy-duty base plate has a built-in optical level bubble meter, which, together with three sets of anti-slip leveling screws on the bottom, can quickly correct and maintain the absolute level of the measurement plane.

  • Quick-release overflow tray: A fully removable powder overflow drawer/tray is provided under the sample tray to catch the powder that overflows from the tray during the test, preventing the sample from scattering and facilitating cleaning.

• Special material support and modular expansion (Modular Stirrer & Nozzle Options):

  • Optional manual stirring device: For sticky powders with extremely poor flowability, easy agglomeration, or easy bridging, a manual stirrer can be selected to break up bridging and ensure stable output.
