The Pharma Test PT-SV100 is a classic, accurate, and durable powder apparent/bulk density (PMD) meter (Scott volumetric gauging) designed for pharmaceutical quality control (QC), incoming material inspection, and research and development (R&D) laboratories. It can accurately and quickly measure the bulk density of free-flowing powder and granular samples through a standardized gravity feeding process.

  • 4-Tier Staggered Baffle Buffer Flow Technology :

    • The powder is arranged in a zigzag pattern : It has 4 specially made inclined optical glass baffles built in, which repeatedly buffer and guide the powder during its fall.

    • Eliminate impact and air entrainment : Completely eliminate the gravitational impact and air entrainment phenomenon of free-falling powder.

    • Highly reproducible filling : Ensures that each test sample is filled into the measuring cup in a uniform, loose and completely consistent stacking state, providing extremely high test repeatability and reproducibility.

  • High-Precision Calibrated Receiving Cup & Scraper System :

    • Standard volume design : Equipped with a high-precision cylindrical stainless steel calibration cup, with a volume precisely locked at 25.0 ml ± 0.05 ml.

    • Rapid density calculation : After weighing, the apparent density (g/ml) of the sample can be quickly calculated by dividing by 25 ml, providing accurate and objective data.

  • Dual-Specification Feeding Sieve System :

    • Dual standard apertures : The top stainless steel sample inlet funnel is equipped with high-specification wear-resistant filter screens, providing a 1.0 mm (18 mesh) fine raw material standard test screen and a 2.0 mm (10 mesh) screen specifically for poor flowability and coarse particles.

    • Anti-caking and flow guiding : The screen can be quickly disassembled and replaced, effectively breaking up slightly caking materials and maintaining a stable and uniform powder flow.

  • Tool-Free Quick Adjustment & Swivel Arm Mechanism :

    • Sliding profile support : Operators can manually adjust the height of the sample inlet funnel and baffle chamber and lock them securely without using any tools.

    • Horizontal rotary arm mechanism : It has a unique horizontal rotation and displacement function. After the test is completed, the baffle box can be rotated to one side directly to quickly remove the receiving cup for precise weighing, which greatly improves the smoothness of operation.

  • Built-in Leveling System & GMP Hygienic Design :

    • Three-point fine-tuning level : The base integrates three-point fine-tuning anchor bolts and a high-precision bubble level, which can correct the machine to an absolute level at any time and eliminate gravity-induced material drop deviation.

    • Removable powder overflow tray : The base is equipped with a quick-detachable stainless steel powder collection tray to completely catch any spilled powder, preventing table contamination and accelerating batch-to-batch cleaning.
