The Pharma Test / Pharmag PSM High Speed Ploughshare Mixer Attachment (part number: 40-01190) is designed for pharmaceutical formulation development (R&D), Galenical Labs, and small-scale pilot processes. This module can be directly installed on a P-UAM universal motor-driven main unit and utilizes a vortex fluidized bed mixing principle. It is specifically designed for dry materials, semi-wet powders, and microgranules, and is particularly suitable for highly viscous, easily agglomerated, and fibrous powders that present significant challenges. It fully complies with the stringent requirements of cGMP, GLP, FDA, and the International Pharmacopoeia.
I. Employing the Turbine Mixing Principle, a highly efficient fluidized bed mixing effect is generated through the extremely small gap between the high-speed rotating plow blade mixing arm and the cylinder wall, simultaneously producing strong 3D turbulent convection in both the radial and axial directions.
II. It has excellent mixing performance with extremely low ratios, and the mixing and dilution ratio of trace active ingredients (APIs) to base excipients can be as low as 1:100,000, which can quickly achieve extremely high content homogeneity within minutes.
III. Specifically designed for special materials with extremely poor flowability, easy adhesion and caking, it can completely break down fibrous particles and clumped materials.
IV. It can be directly connected to the P-UAM universal motor drive unit, allowing the operator to dynamically adjust the speed from 50 to 450 rpm according to the material characteristics, seamlessly meeting the needs of various processes.
V. Equipped with an inductive proximity switch safety protection system, which automatically cuts off the main unit's operation immediately if the outer cover is opened during operation, ensuring the highest level of operational safety.
VI. All parts of the machine that come into contact with materials are made of AISI 316 pharmaceutical and food-grade corrosion-resistant stainless steel, with a smooth surface and no dead corners, supporting sterilization and cleaning validity in accordance with GMP standards.
