Pharmag BM-0 Mini Ball Mill

The Pharma Test / Pharmag BM-0 Ball Mill Attachment Drive (Part No. 40-01160) is designed for pharmaceutical formulation research and development (R&D), gastronomy laboratories, and pilot plants. This module connects to the P-UAM universal motor drive via a P-UGD universal gearbox, utilizing high-strength dual-spindle rotary drive to power various types of independent grinding jars. It provides low-speed, highly stable, and high-torque tumbling grinding power, fully complying with the stringent requirements of cGMP, FDA, and the International Pharmacopoeia for laboratory ultrafine grinding and homogenization processes.


I. Standardized Quick-Lock Attachment Flange: Utilizing industry-standard mounting flanges, it allows for quick installation and removal from the P-UGD/P-UAM drive system within seconds without the need for complex tools, significantly reducing equipment purchase costs and laboratory workspace.


II. Dual Heavy-Duty Drive Rollers Architecture: Utilizing a wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant precision parallel dual-roller design, it can flexibly accommodate standard grinding jars of different materials (such as ceramic, agate, and stainless steel) and capacities, supporting simultaneous tumbling operation of single or multiple jars.


III. Comprehensive Dry & Wet Milling Compatibility: Supports solid/solid dry micronization and solid/liquid wet grinding and suspension dispersion, enabling efficient processing of crystalline active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), pellets, tablets, tablets, high-viscosity slurries and wet powders.


IV. Pharmaceutical-grade hygienic structure and cGMP cleaning verification (cGMP Sanitary Design & Cleanability): The outer frame is made of AISI 304/316 corrosion-resistant stainless steel, with a smooth surface without dead corners, making it easy to clean and disinfect, and fully complies with cGMP and GLP cleaning effectiveness standards.

It allows for the free placement of milling jars of different materials (ceramic, agate, alumina/zirconia ceramic, stainless steel) and capacities (from small to a maximum of 5.0 L) depending on the material's tolerance.
