Pharmag MiniPress II Fully Automated Rotary Tablet Press

The Pharmag P-MiniPress II (part of the German Pharma Test Group's series of micro-tablet and solid dosage form development equipment) is a high-performance, fully automated rotary benchtop tablet system specifically designed for drug research and development (R&D), formulation development (Galenical Labs), clinical batches (Clinical Batches), and small-scale pilot production.


I. Rotary multi-station capacity: Equipped with 8 to 10 rotary tables, the maximum capacity can reach 18,000 to 24,000 tablets/hour, accurately simulating the pressure dynamics and dwell time of large-scale mass production tablet machines, reducing the risk of commercial scale-up.


II. International Standard Die Compatibility: Fully supports Euro B, Euro D, or TSM international standard dies, suitable for round, irregularly shaped, and engraved tablets. The modular quick-release turntable and feeding system make die replacement and cleaning efficient, fast, and easy.


III. Instrumentation Mechanics Data Analysis: Optional high-precision force sensors can be equipped to monitor the main pressure bar force (up to 40–60 kN), pre-pressure, and ejection demolding force in real time, generating a "force-displacement curve" to accurately assess powder compression characteristics and fully assist in process scale-up.


IV. cGMP and Intelligent Safety Protection: All contact parts are made of pharmaceutical-grade stainless steel and equipped with a 360° fully transparent interlocking safety shield, dust extraction interface and overload protection mechanism to ensure safe operation and full compliance with cGMP and CE regulations.

  • Precision feeding system and tablet weight uniformity control (Advanced Powder Feeding & Weight Control)

    • Multiple feeding system configuration (Gravity & Optional Force Feeder) : Standard configuration includes a gravity-fed feed hopper, and an optional frequency-controlled adjustable speed "Force Feeder" is available to ensure that fine powders or low-density particles with poor flowability can still be uniformly filled.

    • Independent Weight & Thickness Adjustment : Equipped with a precision micro-adjustment mechanism, it allows for independent adjustment of filling depth (tablet weight) and main pressure roller position (tablet thickness and hardness), achieving high-precision batch uniformity.

  • Instrumented Compression Dynamics & Formulation Profiling

    • High-precision multi-dimensional force sensors (Precision Force & Displacement Sensors) : Optional high-sensitivity piezoelectric force sensors (Load Cell) and punch displacement sensors can monitor and record pre-compression, main compression force (up to 40–60 kN), and ejection force in real time.

    • Comprehensive Compression Profiling : Supports real-time generation of force-displacement curves, Heckel equation curves, and compression work analysis, providing scientific data for evaluating the compression characteristics, shatter strength correlation, and viscous tendency of prescription powders.

  • Pharmaceutical-grade corrosion-resistant materials and cGMP hygiene and safety protection (Pharma-Grade Materials, cGMP & Safety Design)

    • Pharma-Grade Contact Parts : All key components that come into contact with the drug powder are made of high-purity AISI 316/304 pharmaceutical-grade stainless steel and certified high-abrasion-resistant engineering materials, providing excellent chemical corrosion resistance and wear resistance.

    • 360° Interlocked Safety Enclosure : The fully enclosed transparent enclosure is equipped with a safety interlock switch, which automatically stops the machine when opened, completely eliminating the risk of injury during operation; at the same time, it integrates a standard dust suction interface, effectively suppressing dust and preventing cross-contamination, fully complying with cGMP and CE safety regulations.
