The Pharma Test / Pharmag HMG Homogenizer Attachment is specifically designed for the homogenization, emulsification, and mixing processes of immiscible fluids (such as water-in-oil (W/O) or oil-in-water (O/W) emulsions). This module can be directly connected to a UAM general-purpose motor drive unit. It utilizes a precision piston pump combined with a pre-designed flow channel structure to generate high-intensity turbulence and static mixing effect. It also integrates an electric heating matrix and a precise temperature control system, providing a highly efficient emulsification and homogenization solution for R&D and small-to-medium batch production, fully compliant with cGMP, GLP, and FDA regulations.


I. Direct connection to the UAM universal motor drive unit, through a precision piston pump, pushes the material through a specially structured flow channel, generating strong turbulence and static mixing, achieving microparticle refinement and efficient homogenization of immiscible liquids.


II. Supports dual operational flexibility: "batch mode (hopper operation, suitable for R&D and small batches)" and "semi-continuous mode (external feed pipeline, suitable for large-batch continuous homogenization)".


III. Built-in integrated heating matrix and dedicated thermostat, supporting precise preheating and constant temperature homogenization processes up to 40°C.


IV. All parts in contact with materials are made of corrosion-resistant, medical-grade, and food-grade cGMP-compliant materials, with a compact and stable structure that is easy to disassemble for cleaning and effective sterilization.

  • Turbulent Flow & Static Mixing Principle

    • Structured flow channel shearing: A piston pump drives liquid to flow at high speed through a homogeneous flow channel with a specific geometric preset structure. Through high Reynolds number turbulent flow, continuous shearing and collision are generated, forming an excellent static mixing effect.

    • Microparticle emulsification refinement: It can refine and uniformly disperse immiscible liquid droplets such as water-in-oil (W/O) or oil-in-water (O/W) in a very short time, greatly improving the physical stability and homogeneity of the emulsion.

  • Dual-process operation flexibility (Batch & Semi-Continuous Operation Modes)

    • Batch Process: Direct feeding is achieved using the machine's 1.5 L stainless steel hopper, with a maximum working capacity of 1.0 L, making it ideal for laboratory formulation development, small-batch preparation, and dosage form testing.

    • Semi-Continuous Process: Supports continuous homogenization using external large-capacity containers or continuous feeding systems, easily meeting the needs of medium to large-scale pilot production.

  • Integrated Heating Matrix & Thermostat

    • Constant temperature heating design: Standard configuration includes a factory-dedicated electric heating matrix and an external thermostat, providing a constant temperature environment up to 40°C.

    • Promotes flow and homogenization: It can effectively reduce the viscosity of high-viscosity oil phases or temperature-sensitive materials, ensuring that the materials are homogenized and emulsified under optimal free-flow conditions.

  • cGMP Hygiene Design and Safety Precautions

    • Corrosion-resistant medical and food-grade materials: All fluid-contacting components are made of high-quality corrosion-resistant medical and food-grade metal materials, meeting stringent cGMP cleaning and effectiveness standards.

    • Wet Running Only: This equipment is specially designed for purely wet operation (dry running should be avoided) to ensure the durability and stable life of the piston seals and flow channels.
