Pharmag FMO Ointment Dosing & Filling Apparatus

The Pharma Test / Pharmag FMO Ointment Dosing & Filling Apparatus Attachment is designed for precise dispensing of high-viscosity, fluid ointments and creams in pharmaceutical R&D, lead generation, and small-batch production. This machine employs a high-precision volumetric dosing piston pump mechanism, enabling accurate dispensing of materials into tubes, bottles, vials, and various types of plastic containers. The standard single-stroke filling range is 50 to 200 ml, with optional piston assemblies available for micro-filling from 10 to 100 ml. The patented filling nozzle structure has excellent drip-free and airless filling characteristics. All material contact surfaces are made of corrosion-resistant food/medical grade stainless steel, fully compliant with cGMP, GLP and FDA regulations.


I. It adopts a dynamic high-precision volumetric piston metering mechanism with a single-stroke filling volume of 50-200 ml (10-100 ml piston assembly is optional).


II. Intelligent bubble-free and airless dosing design completely solves the problems of air entrapment and paste dripping during hose filling.


III. Equipped with a large-capacity 18-liter tapered feed hopper, it has a compact structure and supports tool-free quick disassembly, making it easy to clean, maintain and perform cGMP sterilization procedures.


IV. Directly mounted on the UAM universal power unit, with a maximum filling speed of 1200 strokes/hour, and supports optional foot control pedals.

    • Precision Measuring Mechanism: Employing precision-machined piston measuring cylinder and push-pull piston assembly, it can accurately control the displacement of each stroke, completely eliminating dosage deviations caused by changes in material viscosity.

    • Wide container applicability: Suitable for semi-automatic dispensing of metal/plastic tubes, cosmetic and pharmaceutical wide-mouth cream jars, various bottles, and special-sized plastic containers.

  • Intelligent drip-free and airless dosing nozzle design

    • Eliminate air trapped in the hose: The flow channel geometry, specially developed for hose filling, can effectively expel air during the injection process, avoiding the formation of air holes or cavities inside the hose, ensuring an aesthetically pleasing finished product and a solid dosage.

    • Clean, neat, and leak-proof: It features a special material-cutting valve design that closes quickly at the end of filling, preventing the paste from stringing, dripping, and getting dirty at the bottle opening.

    • Multiple nozzle options: Standard configuration includes a Ø6 mm (125 mm long) nozzle, with additional nozzles available in Ø2 mm, Ø4 mm, Ø8 mm, and other sizes, allowing for easy switching based on material consistency and container diameter.

  • Large capacity hopper with cGMP quick-release sanitary structure (18L Hopper & Quick Maintenance)

    • 18-liter conical hopper: Standard configuration includes a large-capacity conical feed hopper with an inclined inner wall to ensure that high-viscosity pastes slide smoothly into the piston chamber, reducing the time wasted on frequent refills.

    • Tool-free quick disassembly and assembly: The hopper, piston cylinder and discharge valve assembly all adopt a smart quick-disassembly structure, which can be completely disassembled by the operator in a few minutes. This is extremely convenient for deep cleaning, high temperature and high pressure sterilization and cGMP cleaning when changing batches.

  • Direct UAM Drive & Ergonomic Control

    • Seamless power core: Directly mounted to the UAM main unit via a universal flange, the production cycle is smoothly adjusted by the UAM's digital continuously variable transmission, with a maximum filling speed of 1200 strokes/hour.

    • Optional foot switch: A dedicated foot control pedal (Foot Pedal, Part No. 40-01010) can be added to allow operators to hold the container with both hands and trigger single-stroke filling by foot, significantly improving work efficiency.
