Dissolution Cup Cleaning and Media Dispensing Integration System

Merel dissoWASH & DOSE® Dissolution Cup Cleaning and Media Dispensing System

The Merel dissoWASH&DOSE® Automated Dissolution Vessel Washing & Dosing System is specifically designed for pharmaceutical dissolution quality control (QC) and research and development (R&D) laboratories. The system integrates two core functions: in-situ washing and media dosing. Its highly mobile trolley design ensures perfect compatibility with dissolution testing equipment from major global brands. It completely eliminates the tedious and risky process of manually disassembling glassware, significantly reduces batch turnaround time, and fully complies with the stringent standards of cGMP, USP <711>, and the International Pharmacopoeia for effective pre-dissolution treatment and cleaning.

I. In-Situ Vessel Washing & Aspiration: The patented probe performs 360° high-pressure spraying and powerful vacuum suction directly in the water bath, completing the cleaning in tens of seconds without disassembling the cup, completely eliminating the risk of cup breakage and maintaining the existing mechanical alignment (centering and perpendicularity).

II. In-Line Heating & Vacuum Degassing: Built-in in-line preheating system (precise temperature control 37.0°C ± 0.5°C) and continuous vacuum degassing module, fully compliant with USP <711> and EP <2.9.3> specifications, ensuring high reproducibility and accuracy of dissolution data.

III. High-Precision Dosing & Universal Compatibility: The high-precision metering pump supports rapid dosing of 250–2000 mL (accuracy better than ±1.0%); the universal probe design is seamlessly compatible with 6–14 cup dissolution systems from major brands such as Pharma Test, Sotax, Agilent, Hanson, Distek, and Logan.

IV. Mobile Design & cGMP Validation: The silent omnidirectional trolley integrates independent media/waste tanks and spill response, allowing a single person to move freely throughout the entire laboratory; all contact piping is made of pharmaceutical-grade corrosion-resistant materials, supporting standardized cleaning validation and complete IQ/OQ verification.

Equipment Introduction

  • In-situ Vessel Washing & Rapid Vacuum Aspiration – Highly Effective Cleaning and Wastewater Removal Without Disassembly

    • In-Situ Washing Without Vessel Removal : The patented probe can directly penetrate into the dissolution cup in the dissolution water bath for in-situ cleaning, completely eliminating the tedious manual disassembly and handling process, and thoroughly eliminating the industrial safety risks of glass collision and breakage and sample contamination risks.

    • 360° High-Pressure Spray & Rapid Aspiration : Equipped with multi-angle high-pressure spray nozzles and a powerful vacuum pump, it can quickly flush away residues on the cup wall and instantly drain the waste liquid. A single cup cleaning takes only tens of seconds, while maintaining the existing mechanical verification of the dissolution instrument (centering, verticality, and cup depth) without interference.

  • In-Line Continuous Degassing & Precise Pre-Heating System

    • Pharmacopoeia-grade high-efficiency vacuum degassing (USP/EP Compliant In-Line Vacuum Degassing) : Built-in high-efficiency real-time continuous vacuum degassing module, which can simultaneously remove dissolved gases in the dissolution medium during the liquid addition process, fully complying with the stringent specifications of USP <711> and EP <2.9.3> for the degree of media degassing, eliminating the interference of bubbles on the dissolution rate.

    • Rapid In-Line Media Pre-Heating: Equipped with a high-efficiency real-time heating unit, the medium can be directly and precisely preheated to 37.0°C ± 0.5°C during the dispensing process, which greatly reduces the waiting time for the dissolution instrument water bath to heat up and significantly improves the laboratory batch inspection turnover rate.

  • High-precision quantitative dispensing and universal compatibility with all brands.

    • High-Precision Volumetric Metering Pump : Employs an industrial-grade precision metering system, providing free quantitative dispensing settings from 250 mL to 2,000 mL with dispensing accuracy better than ±1.0%, completely eliminating human reading errors caused by traditional graduated cylinders or manual dispensing.

    • Universal Multi-Brand Tester Compatibility : The universal ergonomic cleaning/liquid addition probe design is perfectly compatible with various dissolution testers of 6 to 14 cups from major brands such as Pharma Test, Sotax, Agilent (Vankel), Hanson, Distek, Erweka, and Logan.

  • Highly mobile ergonomic trolley with cGMP hygiene certification.

    • Integrated Mobile Station with Smart Level Sensors : The entire unit is integrated into a medical-grade omnidirectional silent trolley, allowing a single person to easily move around and serve multiple dissolution instruments in the entire laboratory; it has a built-in large-capacity fresh medium tank and waste liquid tank, and is equipped with an electronic anti-overflow high liquid level smart alarm sensor.

    • Pharmaceutical Sanitary Materials and Cleaning Validation Support : All tubing is made of pharmaceutical-grade corrosion-resistant and passivated materials, resistant to various surfactants (SDS/Tween), acid and alkali buffers, and organic solvents, supporting standardized cleaning validation and complete IQ/OQ validation documentation.
