Pharmag DG Dry Granulator
The Pharma Test / Pharmag P-DG Dry Granulator Attachment (Part No. 40-01110) is designed for pharmaceutical formulation research and development (R&D), dosage form laboratories (Galenical Labs), and pilot plants. This module connects directly to the P-UAM universal motor drive unit or P-UGD universal gearbox via a standard quick-release flange. It is specifically designed for crushing, extruding, and uniformly granulating post-compression agglomerated materials, tablet fragments (slugs), and dry powders, providing highly reproducible particle size distribution (PSD). It fully complies with the stringent requirements of cGMP, FDA, and the International Pharmacopoeia for pretreatment of solid dosage forms and pre-filling processes for tablets/capsules.
I. Standardized Quick-Lock Attachment Flange: Utilizing industry-standard mounting flanges, it allows for quick installation and removal from the P-UAM/P-UGD drive system within seconds without the need for complex tools, significantly reducing equipment purchase costs and laboratory workspace.
II. High-Efficiency Dry Granulation & Uniform PSD: Featuring a high-torque extrusion rotor structure, it can gently and efficiently extrude and screen pre-compressed plates, large slugs, and agglomerated powders, significantly reducing the generation rate of fine powder and ensuring particle flowability and subsequent tablet quality.
III. Modular Multi-Aperture Screen and Tool-Free Disassembly: Offers precision-cut stainless steel screens in various aperture specifications (e.g., 0.5 mm to 3.0 mm). The entire machine features a quick-release latch structure, allowing for the removal and replacement of the rotor and screen in seconds without the need for additional hand tools.
IV. Pharmaceutical-grade hygienic design and cGMP cleaning verification: All parts in contact with materials are made of high-specification AISI 316/316L stainless steel with a mirror-polished surface (Ra < 0.8 µm), eliminating dead corners and facilitating thorough cleaning and sterilization. It fully complies with cGMP, GLP and FDA cleaning effectiveness standards.

Pilot-scale high-capacity design (Pilot Scale Output up to 20 kg/h): Compact in size yet possessing a dry grinding and granulation capacity of up to 20 kg/h, it can seamlessly connect laboratory formulation development (R&D), pilot plant formulation, and small-scale mass production needs.
