The Pharma Test / Pharmag P-DCM-6 Double Cone Mixer Attachment is designed for pharmaceutical formulation research and development (R&D), gastronomy laboratories, and pilot plants. This module connects directly to the P-UGD universal gearbox and P-UAM universal motor drive unit via standard quick-release flanges. It is specifically designed for gentle convection mixing and anti-segregation/tumble of dry powders and granules (Solid/Solid), providing highly reproducible and shear-free mixing quality, fully complying with the stringent requirements of cGMP, GLP, FDA, and the International Pharmacopoeia for solid formulation pilot processes.

I. Adopting industry-standard quick-release mounting flanges, it can be quickly installed and removed from the P-UGD universal gearbox and P-UAM universal power unit system in seconds without complicated tools, greatly saving equipment purchase costs and laboratory table space, realizing a modular pilot process platform with multiple uses.

II. Utilizing a classic symmetrical double-cone structure and radial tumbling mixing principle, the material undergoes multi-directional convection, diffusion, and sliding motion between the double-cone tips and the central expansion zone as it rotates continuously at 360°, completely eliminating mixing dead zones and effectively preventing powder segregation.

III. Provides a low-shear, gentle tumbling environment, making it particularly suitable for highly diluted powder blends with extremely low proportions of active ingredients (API < 1%), heat-sensitive or shear-sensitive powders, as well as fragile pellets and coated particles, preventing powder from violently impacting and breaking or generating frictional heating.

IV. It features a total volume of 5.0 L and an operating capacity of up to 2.5 L, supporting precise stepless speed control from 5 to 45 rpm. It is widely applicable to dry powder processing in diverse industries such as pharmaceuticals, traditional Chinese medicine, fine chemicals, food and health products, agricultural biotechnology, cement and ceramics, cosmetics and detergents, and paints and pigments.
