Pharmag CP-9 Coating Pan (Coating Machine)
The Pharma Test / Pharmag CP-9 Coating Pan Attachment Machine is designed for tablet, microcapsule, and granule coating processes in R&D laboratories, pilot-scale experiments, and small-scale production. The machine features built-in high-efficiency mixing baffles that create a three-dimensional, uniform tumbling flow of materials during rotation, significantly improving spray coverage uniformity. Connected to the UAM main unit via a UGD universal gearbox, the machine allows for free adjustment of the operating angle and discharge tilt angle. It can be equipped with an optional 150W infrared heating lamp or hot air drying device, fully complying with cGMP, GLP, and FDA regulations.
I. Connected to the UAM universal motor drive unit via the UGD universal gearbox, it provides a speed range of 5 to 45 rpm and a flexible operating tilt angle adjustment of ±45°.
II. The pot body is carefully equipped with three-dimensional mixing baffles, which greatly promotes the three-dimensional tumbling flow of tablets, improves coating uniformity and prevents material slippage.
III. Supports rotary spray coating process, allowing seamless connection to external spray gun systems and dedicated hot air drying equipment.
IV. Supports rapid tilting feed function, and a 150W metal bracket infrared drying lamp (optional) can be directly installed on the UGD lever bracket to accelerate coating drying and film formation.

High-efficiency built-in internal mixing baffles system
Three-dimensional tumbling flow: The pot body is specially designed with a precisely calculated angle guide plate, which can effectively break the dead corners of the bed and guide the tablets to tumble smoothly from the bottom to the top, presenting a perfect "waterfall" flow.
Uniform spray coverage: Ensures that every tablet or microcapsule can pass evenly through the spray gun atomization zone, completely avoiding localized over-wetting and adhesion or uneven coating thickness, and significantly improving the quality of the coating.
Flexible angle adjustment and gravity-assisted rapid material discharge (Angle Adjustment & Easy Discharging)
Process tilt angle optimization: Through the steering mechanism of the UGD universal gearbox, operators can fine-tune the tilt angle of the pot body within a range of ±45° to accommodate different material batches and flow characteristics.
Rapid rotating material discharge: After the coating process is completed, simply adjust the UGD to a downward tilt angle and run it at a low speed to achieve rapid and complete material discharge using gravity, leaving no dead corners.
External infrared/hot air assisted drying system
UGD bracket-specific mounting: A dedicated infrared drying lamp (IR-Lamp) or hot air blower (Heater/Blower) can be directly mounted on the upper lever bracket of the UGD universal gearbox.
Instant solvent evaporation: Precisely projects heat energy onto the tumbling surface of the material, rapidly evaporating aqueous or organic coating solvents, significantly shortening the coating cycle and increasing film density.
Simple Structure & GMP Cleanability
Medical-grade materials throughout: The pot body that comes into contact with the materials is made of high-quality, corrosion-resistant medical/food-grade stainless steel, and the surface is mirror-polished.
Quick disassembly and cleaning: The structure is simple and compact, with no complicated piping or dead corners, making it easy to disassemble, clean, and perform high-temperature sterilization verification in accordance with cGMP standards.
