Pharmag CMP 7.5 & CMP 12
Plexiglas Cube Blender
The Pharma Test / Pharmag P-CMP Cube Mixer Attachment (compatible with CMP-7.5 / CMP-12 series) is designed for pharmaceutical formulation research and development (R&D), gastronomy laboratories, and pilot plants. This module connects directly to the P-UGD universal gearbox via a standard quick-release flange and is driven by a P-UAM universal motor with precise speed control from 5 to 45 RPM. Utilizing a unique three-dimensional diagonal asymmetric tumbling mechanism, it achieves efficient, gentle, and highly uniform mixing of dry powders and granules, fully complying with the stringent cGMP, FDA, and IOP blend uniformity requirements for solid dosage forms.
I. The installation flange adopts industry-standard specifications, which can be quickly installed and removed from the P-UGD universal gearbox and P-UAM drive system in seconds without complicated tools, greatly saving equipment purchase costs and laboratory table space.
II. Employing a unique diagonal axis eccentric rotation design, the powder generates multi-dimensional cross-flow and natural sliding and tumbling within the cubic container, completely eliminating mixing dead zones. It is particularly suitable for precise and uniform mixing of powders with different specific gravities, fine powders, brittle pellets, and small proportions of highly active APIs.
III. Offers various specifications including 7.5 L (effective working volume approximately 3.0 L) and 12 L (effective working volume approximately 5.0 L), and can be equipped with internal quick-release mixing baffles to provide additional shear dispersion for powders with poor flowability or easy agglomeration.
IV. All parts in contact with materials are made of high-specification AISI 316/316L stainless steel, with high-precision mirror polishing of the inner and outer surfaces (Ra < 0.8 µm). Equipped with medical-grade quick-opening sealing caps and sealing rings, the entire machine has no cleaning dead corners, is easy to disassemble, clean and sterilize, and fully complies with cGMP, GLP and FDA cleaning effectiveness standards.

Equipment Introduction
3D Diagonal Tumbling & Radial Mixing Mechanism
3D Asymmetric Cross-Flow Blending : Employing a unique cubic geometry and diagonal rotation and tumbling mechanism, the material undergoes multi-dimensional radial convection, axial shearing, and diffusion during rotation, completely eliminating dead corners in the container, preventing powder segregation, and achieving high homogenization.
Built-in 3 Stainless Steel Mixing Baffles : The device comes standard with 3 precision stainless steel mixing baffles, which provide appropriate physical shear force and dispersion during material tumbling, effectively breaking up micro-agglomerates and micro-clumps, significantly shortening the mixing cycle and improving batch uniformity.
Gentle Low-Shear Mixing & Sensitive Powder Protection
Precision stepless speed control (5 – 45 RPM) : Through the P-UGD universal gearbox, it connects to the P-UAM universal power unit drive, providing a precise rotation speed of 5 to 45 RPM, which can be flexibly set according to the material flowability, fragility and batch size.
Complete protection for fragile pellets and heat-sensitive APIs : Gentle tumbling and mixing without generating localized frictional heat, without damaging brittle particles, coated pellets, or special crystalline structures, making it ideal for formulations of fragile powders and heat-sensitive pharmaceuticals.
Dual Volume Options & Pilot Plant Scale-up
Dual-specification volume configurations (CMP 7.5 & CMP 12 Specifications) :
CMP 7.5 (Part No. 40-01100) : Total volume 7.5 L, maximum operating capacity up to 3.0 L.
CMP 12 (Part No. 40-01105) : Total volume 12.0 L, maximum operating capacity up to 5.0 L.
It perfectly supports seamless scaling from early formulation development (R&D) and dosage form laboratories (Galenical Labs) to small-scale pilot production (Pilot Plant).
Dedicated Dry Blending of Powders (Solid / Solid) Process : Widely applicable to the homogeneous mixing of dry powders, granules, and crystalline microparticles, as well as the uniform mixing of lubricants such as talc and magnesium stearate before tablet/capsule filling.
Modular quick-lock flange and integration compatibility
Standard Tool-Free Quick-Lock Flange Mounting : Adopting a standard universal flange design, operators can quickly complete the installation, fixing and disassembly of modules in seconds without tools, greatly improving the efficiency of multi-module switching in the laboratory.
Integrated pilot unit operating ecosystem (Driven via P-UGD & P-UAM) : Requires the use of P-UAM universal drive unit and P-UGD 90° universal gear drive to operate, sharing the drive platform and significantly saving equipment purchase costs and laboratory table space.
Support for Extensive Multi-Industry Applications
Cross-domain universal formulation process : widely used in pharmaceutical, herbal and alternative medicine, specialty and fine chemicals, food and health food, and agricultural biotechnology.
cGMP Sanitary Design & Cleanability
Pharma-Grade Stainless Steel Construction : All material contact parts and internal mixing shafts are made of pharmaceutical-grade stainless steel with a sanitary mirror polishing finish (Ra < 0.8 µm), eliminating cleaning dead spots and fully complying with cGMP, GLP, FDA cleaning standards and various national pharmacopoeia standards.
